Two organisations partnering up sounds pretty impersonal: aligning business interests or a bit of PR. But the word itself means collaboration. For us, it’s putting two heads together and having a chat.
Payroll is tricky - particularly on farm. The do-it-all attitude of kiwi farmers is awesome, but compliance is slippery, paper timesheets are impractical, and the labour inspectors are watching closely. Dairy people are busy, and we can’t let this stuff slide. And there are some big changes to PAYE filing obligations coming on 1 April 2019.
A problem shared is a problem solved. PaySauce and the DWN are combining our knowledge and networks to start a conversation about payroll. PaySauce works closely with dairy farmers and tackles payroll and compliance problems daily. The Dairy Women’s Network are a community of leaders who know what a struggle payroll can be. Together, we’re keen to share proven solutions developed with dairy people.
We’ll be taking this show on the road in 2019 with a series of events in major dairy regions. We provide knowledge. You provide questions, suggestions and conversation about admin and compliance on the farm. We need dairy people to be open about payroll struggles, and open to payroll solutions. This isn’t about two faceless organisations. It’s about addressing a long-standing problem for a crucial kiwi industry. It’s about building communication beyond the partnership and between rural New Zealanders, especially business owners, to make us more resilient and help us grow.
The Dairy Women’s Network - PaySauce Partnership. It’s a bit of a mouthful, but it’s pretty simple really. It’s people solving payroll.
